This explains what personal information Paul Ward Coaching collects through this website, why, and what your choices are. It is written to be short and clear.
Who is responsible for your information
Paul Ward, trading as Paul Ward Coaching, is responsible for the information collected through this website. You can contact me at paul@paulwardcoaching.com.
What I collect
If you use the sign-up form, I collect:
- your first name
- your email address
When you are on my email list, my email service also records when you signed up and whether you open or click on my emails. If you email or call me directly, I keep that correspondence so I can reply.
Why I use it, and my legal basis
I use your name and email address to send you the emails you asked for: a welcome email, a short series about The Pillars of Powerful Presence, and news of preview dates, workshops and programmes. My legal basis is your consent, which you give when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who I share it with
I do not sell your information. I use these services to run the site and send email:
- Mailchimp (operated by Intuit), which stores your name and email address and sends my emails. Mailchimp is based in the United States, so your information may be transferred there, under safeguards that Mailchimp describes in its own privacy statement.
- Netlify, which hosts this website and keeps ordinary server logs, including visitors' IP addresses, for security and reliability.
- Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces on this site. Loading them sends your IP address to Google.
Cookies
This website does not set its own cookies and does not use advertising or analytics trackers. The services above may handle some technical data as described.
How long I keep it
I keep your name and email address for as long as you remain on my list. If you unsubscribe, I will stop emailing you and may keep your email address on a suppression list so you are not added again by mistake. I will delete your details entirely if you ask.
Your rights
You have the right to ask me for a copy of your information, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how I use it, and to withdraw your consent. To do any of these, email paul@paulwardcoaching.com. Every email I send also has an unsubscribe link at the bottom.
If you are unhappy with how I handle your information, please tell me first so I can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If I change this policy, I will update the date at the top of this page.
